Experimental Pathology Graduate Program
The Department of Pathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch, (UTMB) at Galveston, is composed of more than 50 highly trained faculty members, with many additional individuals holding joint appointments. Specific fields of concentration exemplify the faculty's diverse interests. They have generated an extensive list of publications, obtained external funding from a variety of sources, and are working on a large number of research projects, such as; pathobiology and immunobiology of infectious diseases including, viruses, bacteria and other intracellular pathogenic organisms; mechanisms of chemical injury; environmental toxicology; chemical carcinogenesis; cellular signal transduction; molecular oncogenesis; neuropathology; renal pathology; and mycology
